Our Client

Is an established, growing, supplier of high end residential & commercial furniture & interior products. They have offices in Perth and interstate and are suppliers of Australian and overseas designer furniture, lighting and interior brands and products. Due to an internal move they are seeking a dynamic, proactive sales person to join their Perth sales team and have this exciting sales role available now in their commercial team.

The Job

We are seeking a confident sales person, ideally with a design qualification and relevant interior sales experience. Your role will be based in the showroom but more importantly out face to face with various decision makers including architects, interior designers, builders, developers, project managers and end users. Your role will be to build strong relationships with these existing and new clients and your aim will be to get products specified into various commercial fit outs across WA. This will include Workplace, Education, Government, Hospitality, Aged Care and more.  

Supported by an inhouse admin and estimating team, this will enable you to focus on building relationships with your client base and working towards sales targets, KPI’s and budgets. The role is Monday to Friday and you will inherit an established client base but you will also be required to target some new business development as part of your call cycle. 

Skills Required 

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills;

• Proven track record of relevant sales in commercial furniture or similar projects in WA.
• A design qualification and passion for the interiors industry. 
• Strong face to face relationships building skills and superb presentation skills
• Full Driving licence and a proactive approach to selling and building relationships.
• Knowledge of commercial furniture or associated interior fit out products desired.
